Blues & BBQ - The Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro Event
I had an amazing opportunity to partner up with Events by Summer Joy to cover the Blues & BBQ annual event for The Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro (CFGG) held at LeBauer Park in downtown Greensboro, North Carolina. The initial date of the event was pushed back caused by the rain but the rescheduled date was filled with sunny skies and minimal clouds. I did not meet anyone prior to the event but everyone there including the vendors welcomed me with open arms and let me be a fly on the wall to capture candid moments of the event. I was tasked with taking photos of setup the vendor tables, guest sign ins to collect their name tags, colleagues greeting each other, speeches from members of CFGG and the band playing their amazing music during the intermissions.
I had an incredible time capturing moments for CFGG and am truly thankful for the opportunity to meet a lot of members of the organization. I would like to give a big shout out to the vendors who included: Events by Summer Joy, Marty’s BBQ II on Wheels, Piedmont Blues Preservation, Society All Stars (Band), House on Briggs (Florals), Savor the Moment (Desserts) and Party Makers (Rentals) for all of their incredible working putting the event together.
