Day in the Life at Gordon Food Services - Charlotte, NC
I recently had the incredible opportunity to be a fly on the wall, capturing the candid moments of the dedicated employees at Gordon Food Services. Michael Kausch, the senior video producer, was on the lookout for a photographer and videographer to create fresh lifestyle content for their internal communications, social media, and marketing promotions. Fortunately, he was impressed with my previous branding and commercial work and chose me for the project in Charlotte, NC.
Our mission was to document two sets of truck drivers as they delivered food to local businesses, visit the headquarters to photograph employees in the offices and warehouse, and conclude the day by filming at a new restaurant that relies on Gordon as a vendor.
The experience was both exhilarating and enlightening. From coordinating truck routes around town to enjoying a light breakfast at Waffle House, and marveling at the vastness of the warehouse, every moment was a highlight. I am incredibly grateful to Michael for trusting me with this project and for the amazing opportunity. I eagerly anticipate the chance to collaborate again in the future!
