Women Leading Travel & Hospitality Summit - Charlotte, NC Photography Coverage
I had the incredible opportunity to cover the 2024 Women Leading Travel & Hospitality Summit in Charlotte, NC, from June 10-12! This summit provides women executives from top travel and hospitality brands a chance to enhance their professional lives and business strategies. When I received the email about this opportunity, I was thrilled and eager to apply, given my experience covering various events in the past. I was also hopeful they would consider having a male photographer at an all-women event, so I crossed my fingers and hit send. The next day, I received an invitation for an interview, and the rest was history! I was selected to be the photographer for the event, working alongside their in house media team.
The entire three-day summit was an extraordinary experience, surrounded by powerful and remarkable women in their respective fields. Witnessing the attendees network, participate in various workshops, indulge in a little shopping and engage in presentations was truly inspiring. I even had the chance to meet chef and television personality Carla Hall and capture her Q&A keynote. I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity and want to extend a huge thank you to Daniel at Creative Spark and Kristina from Napco for their patience and guidance each day.
Overall, covering the summit was not only professionally rewarding but also personally enriching. The experience of being in such an empowering environment, filled with influential women leaders, was unforgettable. I am thankful for the chance to contribute to this event and help capture its essence through my lens.
